This place suits me perfectly, offering free parking, wi-fi, and a bar/lounge area. I remember my first stay when staff helped me retrieve my forgotten earpods. I'm coming back for Christmas!

stunning views over the loch, cozy bar with woodwork, quirky nature of the inn's décor
More attention needed for cleanliness!!! The noise issues from room 9 to be addressed!!! A little refurbishment could enhance the atmosphere significantly!!!

the views here are absolutely breathtaking, with stunning sights of loch long and the surrounding highlands. the hospitality was incredible, far exceeding my previous experiences in arrochar, making it feel like a home away from home. the cozy bar offered a great selection of local brews which I truly enjoyed.
the shower pressure was quite low.

the staff were super friendly and made us feel like we were at home. the location is just beautifull with a view over Loch Long. our room was really comfy and clean, just what we needed after a long day of hiking. breakfasts were delicious with plenty of options and the atmosphere at the inn was so chill, we felt like locals right away.
the only downside was that we had to wait a bit long for our dinners one night and the bathroom could use a few more shelves for towels. overall, a great stay tho!

I loved the atmosphere at Village Inn. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. My room was snug but comfortable, with a great shower. We dined at the restaurant each night. the haggis and pie were standout dishes. The children’s meals had excellent value, and desserts were a hit. The chef, Andy, was attentive and brought us extra tablet, which was a nice touch. breakfast was a letdown. My vegetarian breakfast was poorly cooked — runny eggs and bland hash browns. The lack of options like fresh fruit or self-serve cereals felt frustrating, especially given the room rate. I’d stay here again, but I’d skip breakfast.

The stay was a comfortable one, especially given the warm and welcoming nature of the staff. The stunning views across the loch were a highlight, making for a relaxing atmosphere. Dining options were quite good, particularly the evening meals that were served quickly, despite it being busy. a bit more attention to cleaning would have made it even better.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We enjoyed a lovely scenic 30-minute walk through the countryside and then indulged in a generous Sunday roast. The clean rooms and welcoming staff made our stay comfortable. The pub's food was really good, so definitely plan to eat there.
we couldn't find accessible rooms ahead of time, so we ended up with stairs, which wasn't ideal for my friend.
